What you give us
When you press Fetch, the link you pasted is sent to our server so it can look up the public post. The link is used for that request only and isn't saved to a database.
Files you download
Videos, photos, MP3s and ZIPs pass through our server or are assembled in your browser, and go straight to your device. We don't keep copies.
What stays on your device
Your Vault shelf (the last 20 downloads) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device. Clear history removes the shelf, and clearing your browser data removes everything.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting may briefly keep basic technical logs (such as IP address, time and errors) to keep the service secure and working. We don't use them to profile anyone.
We only request content that is publicly visible. We never ask for, collect or store Instagram usernames, passwords or cookies.

Children
InstaDownloader isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
